I'm away with work that night so need to plan where to watch the match

They are hardly likely to play Liverpool away on Sunday teatime and then play a League Cup semifinal on the Tuesday afterwards?

It’s confirmed Wednesday but the ko is dependent on who gets through between Arsenal and Palace. 8pm if Arsenal, 8.15pm if Palace. I assume the arses would be playing a 2nd leg Tuesday but Palace would ko 7.30 on the Wed.

Of course. That’s why the game is being played on the Wednesday.
I was just offering a possible explanation as to why City’s official fixture list has it on the Tuesday.

Correct. Arsenal v Chelsea will be on the Tuesday. Like us, Palace play on Sunday 1st Feb so had they won tonight they would have played Chelsea on the Wednesday at 7:30.
 
If there’s anyone out there not going with points for 1 or 2 tickets I’d be massively grateful for any help. I’m going but my boys haven’t got season tickets and my daughter lives there.

As long as we don't have more than a one goal deficit going into the second leg.
Newcastle have a very poor record at The Etihad, it's been about 10 years since they won a game here, and I think it's just 2 wins in the 20+ years we have played here.
I'm pretty sure we will overturn a one goal deficit and go on to win the tie.
 
City have gone up a level since summer. We can only get better. The same cannot be said for the Magpies. A City win and final is on the cards.
