Ended up clawing back a bit over 50k of my losses in the past fortnight. Roughly where I was in GW15. Think I'll stick with my team for the next round of games. I was contemplating moving out Thiago, but Etikite (the obvious replacement would take an extra 2m (nothing in the bank). Which would mean burning another transfer (Bruno G out for a cheaper option; Miley or Wharton, possibly). DCL is available for my budget; just not sure how long he can keep this hot streak going. Tricky looking game at Sunderland on sunday as well. And Brentford have a winnable game against an out of form Bournemouth. Which you'd hope Thiago might get a goal or 4 against.
I wouldn't but I also wouldn't try and put you off if you think he's worth a punt. He's a big differential if he does well.
He must surely come good at some stage. He was a great player for both Dortmund and the German national side. Are the dips just not using him properly? Problem is, unless I get rid of one of my better mf'ers, I can’t afford a straight 1-1 swap, and I'm reluctant to burn two of my 3 free transfers to get him in. And yes; the differential aspect is appealing. Maybe surprisingly, though, nearly 9% of players have him in their teams. Which is a bit higher than I thought it'd be. I'll probably end up holding what I have for GW18, and take another look on sunday evening.
The majority of that 9% will have picked him at the start and are no longer playing. 15% still have Salah.

I was tempted to move him out, but Brentford are at home to a struggling Bournemouth. I'll give him one more GW. Crazy though it seems, DCL is an option; the guy is on fire at the moment. Like you, though, I'm reasonably OK with my team.
I'm in a similar position. I was inside the top 2k, now I've had four red arrows in a row and I'm now about 35k. Need a bit of luck, like one of those players that you don't expect much of getting a haul.
I'd kill to be in the top 50k at the end of the season.
