Semenyo is one of my favourite players so I’m looking forward to seeing him in Blue. He seems to have a great attitude too.

I can’t quite see why we need him (wingers everywhere at City and even one at Everton) maybe Pep sees him as a box to box midfielder ;-)

He improves the quality of the squad....there are only a couple of players withi our team that start every big game if fit.....one is Donnarumma the others hasland...and gvardiol potentially

Semenyo improves our options outside as gf can play from both sides which none of our wide players can currently do. He us also a better finisher than anybofvour wide players

Cherki is a 10 along with foden

If Semenyo brings the work rate and press he has shown for Bournmouth as well along with his physicality then that is also an improvement ..he will automatically put other teams more on the back foot which benefits us defensively

Hopefully both play because Foden fed by Cherki is better than Foden alone or Cherki alone.

But if its a choice then Cherki over Foden for me. Foden is a great individual player but Cherki is miles better at bringing the best out of the team.

And the other one is clearly weak and not good enough and one out on loan also not good enough. We need a proper winger on that right side and hopefully we can get the deal done.

Where on God's earth are you taking this Foden out of the line up? Foden and Cherki stay on the pitch. Doku needs to stay fit or he'll be the odd man out...

Semenyo isn't an ambitous signing to be honest. Both Savinho and Marmoush are good enough without going in the transfer market at this stage. Vini Jnr seems more box office but the issues are with his attitude and seems more trouble than what he is worth. This seems unlikely at this stage of the season but the likes of Guehi are more prudent with Ake showing major signs of decline.

Both Savio and Marmoush are good enough for what ? To go back our best ? Or secure top 4 ? Savio still has 3 goals in 60 games. Marmoush hasn’t been good since the end of last season, didn’t look amazing during the CWC. I like the guy but his weaknesses make the team struggle. He has a worst touch than Alvarez. He is not good in tight spaces. He physically cannot dribble. Meaning he can’t play against a low block on the left. He has never had a great game at RW. Vini wants to get a manager sacked and the whole fanbase has accepted that he’s a lost cause. Do you know how bad you have to be to be for everyone to say you should be sold to even tho you’ve scored in TWO CL finals ? I wouldn’t even waste my time with that guy. Guehi was a cool signing last season when we were at our worst but I don’t see the signing now. We spent 60 mil on Reis and Khusonov for what ? Dias extended ? Gvardiol isn’t getting benched.
