An aerial that I had to pull up and push down

A slider for hot and cold air although I swear it never blew hot air.
Kangaroo petrol, or so my Dad used to call it i.e. manual choke.
When I then got a slightly newer car, not by any means new, I had an alarm fitted that had an ultrasonic thing on the dashboard. Could it be a Totem alarm or something like that?
