If you had to move to London and you had to follow a team , who would it be?

I couldn’t be around Londoners, that new accent of theirs is the worst accent on this island by a mile.

So I’d get the train from London out to another town and watch the football club from there instead. Brighton, Ipswich or Cambridge, somewhere far enough away from London where they don’t have that repulsive accent.
Which one , the facking caant or the blud fam bro accent?

It would have to be the rags unfortunately
Because I have a family connection long story, but always had a bit of a soft spot for qpr due to Rodney tearing it up there.

City of course.

If I was from London and had no connection to Manchester, I'd probably follow QPR or West Ham, depending which side of London I hailed from. Quite like Brentford too. If I was from Sarf Landan, probably Peliss.

I moved to brixton mid 1980's for a year.
If i wasn't able to make it to a City game and Palace were at home i'd go along and ended up cheering them on.
Always got treated nicely by their fans (they knew my loyalties) and still think fondly of them.

Probably not going to be a popular vote on here but it is what it is.
Palace fans are sound in my experience including at Wembley. Haven't met one i haven't liked though i hated Coppell's scufflers who kicked our boy Blues off the pitch in 87.

If I remember correctly - from a report in Blueprint - City supporters were permitted to carry a banner, wishing Palace all the best in the upcoming Cup final against the rags.

This was in the days, when violence at football was still rampant, and there was a great deal of mistrust between rival sets of fans and the police.

The behaviour of Blues was praised in a letter to the Evening News (I think) from the senior officer in charge of the game’s policing.
That night i bumped into a fellow City fan wearing a Palace shirt after a swap at the end of that game. Sounded like a great atmosphere.

As a young 'un, was always somewhat puzzled that the Valley wasn't in the vicinity of Wilbraham road! ;-/

I lived in Brighton many years ago and regularly watched them when I could. I lived a 10 minute walk away from the Goldstone ground, but when city played there, I was in the away end.

I can't say I have any affinity with them these days, and I don't see myself supporting any team in London.
