Defensive duties like pressing tackling with players like Anderson.If Pep starts Khusa, Rodri and Semenyo instead of Nunes, Bernie and Foden/Cherki respectively, the physicality of the team will be off the scales.
Not saying that team would be better than the less physical version, but we can do with more physicality in some games, say, vs Arsenal.
And a huge throw in as wellHe improves the quality of the squad....there are only a couple of players withi our team that start every big game if fit.....one is Donnarumma the others hasland...and gvardiol potentially
Semenyo improves our options outside as gf can play from both sides which none of our wide players can currently do. He us also a better finisher than anybofvour wide players
Cherki is a 10 along with foden
If Semenyo brings the work rate and press he has shown for Bournmouth as well along with his physicality then that is also an improvement ..he will automatically put other teams more on the back foot which benefits us defensively

Semenyo isn't an ambitous signing to be honest. Both Savinho and Marmoush are good enough without going in the transfer market at this stage. Vini Jnr seems more box office but the issues are with his attitude and seems more trouble than what he is worth. This seems unlikely at this stage of the season but the likes of Guehi are more prudent with Ake showing major signs of decline.

Really sad how his career has ended ,was the right time to leave city as he was rapidly declining ,thought he would still do a decent job for someone for a few years .He was certainly better than given credit for...pep turned him into a goal machine.
