Winnie-The-Pooh first featured in the short story The Wrong Sort of Bees published in the newspaper London Evening News on 24 December 1925.

The cartoon version where Eeyore is so morose is brilliant.
By far my favourite.
'It's only a tail but I'm kind of attached to it'
Or better still 'Don't worry about me, go and enjoy your self. I'll stay here and be miserable '
 
You're not telling me this mob haven't played Pooh Sticks with their children.
They need reporting to the NSPCC if they haven't.
I played Pooh sticks with my son and daughter but she didn’t float too well, never arrived at the other side.
