I don’t base my feelings on someone purely by what they do on a football pitch (not that grealish ever did much for us) I didn’t like him at Villa as I always viewed him as hugely over hyped and felt his antics away from the pitch where pathetic and immature. The level of disrespect you are willing to readily show towards someone who brought joy to any right thinking City fan is most telling.
It speaks of your sense of entitlement and lack of perspective as to what warrants respect in a City player. It used to be scoring in a Derby. Why isn’t that still worthy of respect?
Fanboy ffs. What’s wrong with being a ‘fanboy’ for a Treble winning City player? Seems like something that warrants legendary status from where I’m stood.
You don’t seem to enjoy being a City fan very much.
I lost all respect for grealish when he turned up to training hungover, was left out of squads by pep during title run ins as he wasn’t training well, and by his own admission he didn’t do enough at city. I felt his celebrations during the treble where that of someone who has real issues with booze and his career has completely nose dived since.
So no I don’t respect him. In the same way I don’t respect carlos tevez or Micah Richards or even Adam Johnson to be extreme. They all gave me moments of joy but they are all tossers imo for various reasons.
And to your fanboy comment. I use that expression as there are some posters who will not have a bad word said about grealish and will even frame grealish issues as a pep problem. They are fanboys in my eyes.
