Premier League Games | 26/27/28 December '25

Well, it is bluemoons definition it seems, when its happening for the other surrounding teams on the table.
Late winners don’t just magically HAPPEN, they arrive after a lot of hard work and discipine to keep fighting for 90 minutes and that’s what this team is showing.
When we hit a bad point against Leeds, the team regrouped, talked it through and went out and won the game.
Against Fulham even, we bottled a 5-1 lead to go 5-4 and the team battled and fought for that win again showing the character we have built.

Today, Forest were on top for periods, we were frustrated, we had bad moments but again we found a way to win.

That’s what this club has done many times in the last few years and that’s what this team is doing, finding ways to win.
That’s why I think we will win the league.Because we are finding ways to win when things are not going well, god knows what will happen when things start going really well when we have Doku and Rodri back to full fitness.

It's 3 ( Wolves 2 and tiday) plus the gifted penalty v Everton and the penalty win shootout. Surely this luck cannot continue? I'd be checking SE Asia betting cartels, og are usually fairly rare, but to get 3 in 3 games seems highly suspect to me.....
Are getting own goals luck or are they down to getting the ball into the box and putting pressure on the opposition? Probably a bit of both.

It appears to me that Arteta is getting his team to put pressure on the opposition by putting the ball in the box and forcing the issue. Hence the focus on getting good delivery from corners and the long throws.

It's another tactic and one that is paying dividends at the minute.

They were 5-1 until they weren't. Found themselves scrambling to keep their lead , so in the end they scraped a win. Same against Leeds, scraped an injury time winner. Jammy just like every other team gets. End of story.
"End of story" says the WUM who had a few too many Sherberts last night? I have visions of you sat on a moth eaten sofa, belly protruding from under your 1996 Rag shirt, in your South London flat typing away!

Yeah the thing is the set piece delivery from Saka and Rice is lethal. Always gives us a 'get out of jail' card when the attackers aren't doing the business in open play.
