The 2nd yellow for merino not given was criminal!
Everyone says England is a Dipper and he surely does his best for them. But when he reffed Arsenal v Dippers the other season, he gave Arsenal everything and ignored a very clear Dipper penalty. Bent officiating tonight, not even subtle and now we have him on Var for Chelsea.

Dyche still moaning:
"I think there was a bit of frustration left over from the Manchester City game if there's a sense something has been taken out of your hands.
Fucking hell he's making legohead look like a sane rational guy, his teams have always played football from the dark ages but I didn't realise he was this much of a whinging crying ****.

Frustrating to see the Rags league position dispite being shite.
Come on Chelsea,Villa,Newcastle,Sunderland (after Thursday),Brentford,Everton string a few wins back to back please ang put them in tenth looking over their shoulder.

As bent an officiating performance as youll ever see at Arsenal. 18 fouls and 1 yellow. 2nd yellow for Merino ignored and 2 clear yellows for Saka ignored. Now that should be highlighted by Emery and the media but it wont of course
18 fouls? I’d imagine sky sports news and MOTD will be chock full of people talking about ‘the dark arts’. Similarly, it’ll be all they mention all day tomorrow on both Sky and Talkshite. Then again…

Brightons 1st penalty was identical to the Foden non penalty at Newcastle. Clear foul but they still got a shot away and missed snd the ref gave the penalty. Inconsistency by PGMOL week by week is shocking
Saw it on replay now. I think where it differs from the usual "got his shot away, so no pen" decisions, is that it wasn't an attempt to block or tackle the attempted shot. It was a regular tackle that happened to fall to another player who got his shot away.

I do however, think that the opportunity the tackled player lost, was given back by the other player attempting his shot, so advantage taken. But I don't think the Foden situation is comparable.

Half way point yes, 19 games in, but not played everyone except Villa as they havent played Bournemouth yet, just like we havent played Chelsea yet this season but will do so on game 20.
What’s your point?
Like I said they have to play ever club except Villa one other club twice
