42 | Antoine Semenyo - 2025/26

That assist and goal were the prototypical example of why RW is his best spot.

When we build on the right, he goes wide, he can make runs behind to get a cross in.

When we build left, he now roams centrally, he can make runs behind to score and exploit his 2 footedness.

You always want him mostly on the end of things for the assist or goal, and not really in the build up.

I reckon that's his best game for us. Actually I think his other best was in the final the other week too, had their right back all over the place.

He's scored goals but his overall performances were fairly average but no doubt he's a good player.

2 very good performances back to back. He can be a big player for us and he's certainly going to contribute with goals, which is needed. The gap between Erling and the rest is far too wide in terms of goals scored. You need those players that will get you 15-20 a season and that's Semenyo

Lovely finish, don't think any of our other forwards/winger do that. He's much, much better when played as a touchline winger, very capable of just creating a yard and delivering a good ball in and we must use that much more often.

All about finding the balance between doing that and getting himself into the box for goals himself, i was very critical of him recently wherr he looked hopeless for several games, looks like a different player with his role simplified. expect a big leap next season.

A defender’s nightmare. Movement, power, pace and a lethal finisher.

Clever with his passing, accurate with his crossing and ambidextrous with his shooting.

Doesn’t need to stand out to have a good game either which is welcoming. Just gets on with it and makes his own impact on games.

Impressive performance yesterday and capped it off with a lovely taken goal. He has settled in very well, but there is more to come.

Much better as an actual winger. Frustrating as when we played him there when he first come we looked really good, then changed formation to a narrow two up front, with him playing alongside Haaland, that cost us points in my opinion.

Didn’t like his positioning for the Spurs away and Madrid away games. I don’t think it suited him, Haaland or the team in general.

As a proper winger, he’s looked excellent and Haaland and us as a team in general have been much better.

I think he has been brilliant for us since he arrived. No complaints from me. Goals and assists, what is there not to like. He will have the occasional off day but, has far more good than poor. Settled in so well and feels like he has been here much longer.

Great summary. He doesn't always look easy on the eye but he knows his strengths and maximises them.

As others have said he's basically the new Sterling. Different styles but both know where the back of the net is and how to create chances for themselves (and others).

Will always give defenders a tough game with the combination of his intelligent movement and pace/power.

Don't think he's a City type player personally. Think we've made a mistake buying him. Not saying he's a bad player, but he isn't a City type player. He's a very good goalscorer, but that's all he is.

Yan Diomande, Kenan Yildiz, Nico Williams and Mika Godts are all more suited to us than Semenyo.
Don't agree with this at all, the lad is class. His first season with us as well.

Iv given him stick but he is looking brilliant at RW!

Pep’s overthinks had him at striker and I could not see it from the stand at all for what he offered for us, Infact if Haaland is injured it’s Marmoush and if Marmoush ain’t available it’s Semenyo at 3rd choice as striker.

His instincts at RW is invaluable and I’m glad Pep’s stopped that nonsense. Have him RW with Savinho his understudy.

He’s turned up in two very big games against two top teams.

His goal and assist yesterday were top drawer.

Inevitably, he needs to improve but I think it is fair to say we probably would not still be in contention to win the three big domestic trophies without his signing.
