Is that Bournemouth date just a guess for the 20th, or have they said that officially? Its away also.

Looks like Palace could be in semi final euro tie, also if we get to the cup final our game at Bournemouth will be off.So that means we will have 2 games to rearrange with just 2 midweek spots left the midweek before the cup final and the midweek before our last game with Villa.

If we beat Southampton in the FAC SF, I can see Bournemouth away being moved to Thu May 21 due to the Europa League final being the day before, and I’d imagine the PL will be directed to not schedule a fixture to clash.

So Palace the 13th then.

I think Palace is nailed on for Wednesday 13th May now.

I'm sure City would prefer it on Tuesday 12th if we reach the following weekend's FA Cup final but that's a non-starter as Palace will be playing on Sunday 10th assuming they reach the Conference League SF which is looking extremely likely now.

With Palace having Arsenal last game of the season we could really do with them not making the final.

That's a good point about the EL final but I think there's possibly more chance of Bournemouth being played on Tuesday 19th if it has to move due to the FA Cup final.

That may be City's preference if the title race is threatening to go down to the last day of the season. That's what happened last season when the home game against Bournemouth was moved and we still hadn't clinched a top five place.

This is poor but only in terms of the goalposts being moved so dramatically.

I actually (for once) have a little sympathy for the broadcasters on this one. FA Cup final weekend is a unique situation in the PL calendar in that there are no games on Saturday so deciding what games are going to be on TV in the remaining available slots (Friday night, three on Sunday and Monday night) is difficult enough without yet knowing what games will be put back to the following midweek due to the final.

It should have been made clear from the onset that the dates/times wouldn’t be confirmed until after the FA Cup SF. Not that difficult to figure out.
