Gary Neville

I am gonna get flammed for this but..I don’t mind him on the comms/punditry

Richards, Carragher, Redknapp…they are effing awful and make me want to smash the telly in but Neville doesn’t

ok go on then ban me

Don’t want this **** to bring the joy down today, but cannot stop seething at some of the shit he came out with today

No doubt a bit may have been said on the match thread, but at first I was thinking the distain in his voice sounded beautiful, but on reflection he once again showed his true rag colours and was vindictive and personal in every sentence he mustered.

Absolute disgrace what he says, we get he hates us, the feelings more than mutual, but the rat faced **** was a proper smacked arse today and to use his free hit he then claimed that Arsenal win the league next week if they beat us, fucking desparate **** that he is, an embarrassment to Sky and its viewers

That bloke is desperate for Arsenal to win the league. Was frothing every time Chelsea played a forward pass today his voice was desperate when we got into a position of absolute control.

Then spent the latter part of the game trying to convince everyone Arsenal can win the title at our place next week. Tosspot.

Now...technically it's true they can take control back by beating us next week but no one of sound mind can watch them in their current state and be remotely confident of them doing us next week. Best they can hope for in their form and our form is they scrape a stuffy 0-0 again like they've done in the past. And Neville will crow about Arsenal extending this unbeaten run of theirs against us like it matters for anything.

It's clear he doesn't watch us after his comments about Khusanov all game.
Absolutely. Swapped posts with 'johnnymarsbar' (great user name!) in the 'Match Thread' on this very subject. Quoted my post on the evening of Khusanov's debut after I got back home from that game against Chelsea last year:

"Dreadful opening few minutes for the lad.. but he composed himself with the support of his teammates and then showed his quality and ability when on the ball and when covering opposition attacks.

He'll be fine and will be a beast of a defender for us.."

As you infer, 'pundits' like Neville just gabble on with trite and nonsensensical comments to fill the space in the match commentary. There is no weight or substance supporting their 'observations'.. frankly, ordinary punters like you, me and hundreds of other contributors could probably offer 'observations' that would be just as worthy as the stuff these 'pundits' spout..
