Let’s not forget and this applies to all football fans,we just want to be entertained and enjoy our football first and foremost and this fella will put bums on seats as well as getting them off those seats.phenomenal talent and we have been very very lucky in previously having two fantastic ball playing,skilful and technical players in David Silva and Kevin de Bruyne step forward Rayan Cherki ..

First and foremost fans (of the big clubs at least) want wins and trophies.

Our fans won't enjoy football a lot if United/Liverpool/Arsenal win the trophies.

Cherki is quite productive, more so than David. He's helping the team compete. That combination of skills and productivity is the best thing.

Talking about what fans want isn't the same as talking about what every single fan wants. There are weirdos who want Pep gone. Doesn't mean City fans want him out.

It's pretty obvious that after the last 15 years our fans don't regard trophies as mere bonuses.

If we play great football but don't win, then the football is great only here and there but not consistently enough to compete with our rivals.

Pretty obvious that.

Don’t disagree - maybe he needs a little bit of Dave and a sprinkling of KDB but there can be no denying we have unearthed a gem. If he listens and learns but also stays true to himself then he could become”a great”.

& again, the part in bold, speak for yourself mate

If we play great football consistently, but someone else plays better or accumulates more points than us, I don’t really care, that’s football, so again speak for yourself, there’s nothing obvious about either of your statements

That’s 2 completely different statements with 2 completely different meanings mate

I’m a fan of City (are we a big club? Do I care about being a ‘big club’ - nope) & first & foremost I want to see us play good football. If that’s enough to win things great, if it’s not, oh well, so be it

Will I still enjoy watching City if Arsenal, Liverpool or United win things? Yes, absolutely always have, always will (with the caveat of the Pearce season)

Your opinion is yours & yours alone mate. Some will agree, some will disagree
