Sad passing of a loyal blue Eccles Blue

Not gonna lie, reading this felt like a gut punch and I felt my eyes well up. How can that happen when you've not met someone before?

I like good people. I like principled people. She was both. If I made a post and she 'liked' it, I knew it was a good one and it always brought me a little smile. No Blue will love Johnny Stones as much.

Talk about bringing the mood down.

Awww no that is truly awful news. She was such a positive lovely character who's posts i always enjoyed, even through ill health she was always cheerful. Last post i seemed to remember i think she was in hospital.
Like many here I'm gutted at this news. Deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Devastating news.

I only knew her from this forum, but she was a real character with a sharp wit and, of course, an eternal love for Johnny Stones. In fact I'd often think about whether it was possible to arrange a meeting between her and John. The thought of that always brought a smile to my face.

I would always 'liked' her posts here because I knew if I ever met her she'd have me in stitches. I could tell she had a great personality.

To her family and friends, my profound condolences on such a devastating loss.

Sheila was definitely one of a kind.
