Fucking ludicrous he didn’t win fouls today.

They’re always fouling each other. Gabriel does it go try and distract Haaland from playing his game.

Haaland is getting better at not letting it dominate each time they play.

Look at the way he bullies Gabriel when it mattered in the box for his goal, was more alert to the ball and completely stiff armed him.

Haaland wins the battles he needs to win and knows when it's not worth risking injury to win pointless battles that get us practically nothing.

People will still moan if he doesnt fight tooth and nail for every single ball because they're not clocked on enough to know he has to pick his battles.

Those that want him in 100% fight mode for every single ball will be the first to moan when he picks up constant injuries or becomes fatigued because of it. Same for those complaining about him not sprinting after everything. He runs when it's needed, you see him sprinting back to cover somebody when the ball is turned over in a dangerous position because he knows the team need it in that moment. It's about time we start appreciating his game intelligence, it's as elite as everything else.

Loads of great stuff from Haaland and had a physical battle all game, but i thought once again his deeper lying work was very very good for a striker, and he took his goal well.

Being critical, i got frustrated with him earlier on when he shanked a square ball from just outside the area onto his right foot and it went very wide, that was poor technique. Also thought he should have scored when he hit the post. But as i say, he was a proper nuisance and presence all game.

i've noticed he's giving more back now. He was not winning fouls, like you say, so now he seems to be just getting stuck in as he can't wait around all season for the odd free-kick.
