I think we'll win well here, a first half passing exercise then kill them in the last 20. They have little going forward and 2 tree trunks at the back, honestly think we'll put 3 past them.

This match seems a long way off. Time enough to get everyone fit for the last 6 games.

This and Bournemouth are my only concerns just because they are away. On our own pitch or Etihad South I just expect a win.

We look better than Arsenal but I’d rather have 3 points in the bag than a game in hand. Performances no longer matter to me just get the win.

As long as we avoid any possibility of anyone using the headline "City find it tricky at the Hill Dicky".

Everton 0-2 City

You can never quite be sure what you're gonna get with Everton, and I'm sure even their own fans would agree with that ...... but games are fast running out, Arsenal could be six points ahead by then, and we find ourselves with no other option than to try and win this game.

They've won 6, drawn 4 and lost 7 at home. Another side struggling to adapt in a new ground.

I'd be much more concerned if we were going to Goodison.

It's a tough game, but one we should win comfortably. They've not got huge firepower up top and defensively are quite pedestrian. An opportunity for us to boost our goal difference to put extra pressure on Arsenal.

I'd go for Kova if Rodri is out , he looked superb in the 60 mins he played on Sat and gave us everything we miss when Rodri doesn't play. Granted Nico got a superb goal but for all round play and filling in for Rodri, Kova stood out for me .
Not so sure that wasn’t because Nico gave him the licence to play that way though?

I doubt Everton will be as negative as Southampton were by playing a low block.
Despite any frailties they have , I’m sure they won’t sit back , especially at home?

Everton clearly not worried about climate change - or maybe they have plans to be the British Olympic aquatic center in the future?

All those chippy teas he has in Wilmslow are paying dividends

Huge advantage that this is not at Goodison. Whilst they’ll obviously have the vast majority of supporters in the stadium they haven’t adapted to the venue yet (perhaps they never will) and we should be too strong for them.
