Premier League Games | 1/2/3/4 May '26

The second half was kind to us. That goal difference is totally doable provided we win the next two. Even if only by a single goal we’ll be in touching distance but with more goals scored and still two home games to make up any short fall. That’s based on us both of us winning all our games which I don’t think both will.
 
Very tricky from here but a win in any way on Monday night leaves us 2 off the goal difference, and for it to matter we'd have to win the other game in hand anyway, so that'd be another one off it minimum with three homes games left compared to their one.

Pity there's is against Burnley just

That being the case (us winning the next two by the odd goal), and of course subject to how Arsenal do at West Ham, we'd really have to go for it against Palace.

I still firmly believe that Palace will be resting in the PL if they get through to the Conference League final on Thursday.

We could do with Villa getting to the Europa final meaning they will rest players on the final day.

I think Villa will be fine getting top 5 anyway.

I might be misunderstanding your post but the Europa Final is a few days before that final match, not after. If Villa get there, I suppose they could be on the beach against us regardless of the outcome as they probably only need another 3 points to be guaranteed of that top 5 CL spot.

It’s doable but I think I’d prefer their position.

When you look at their last games I can’t see anything less than 3 wins and perhaps 5 more GD. They couldn’t have hand picked 3 easier opponents.

I think we will need to win our last five games and win all of them by at least 2 goals but maybe with a 4/0 thrown in somewhere. The Burnley missed opportunity goals wise could be costly.

Who knows. Rodri being back would help.
