While this one is still undecided, what will next season hold . We will have Kushanov , Guehi, and O'Reilly with a lot more experience , Gvaridiol back , possibly 1-2 actual midfielders who can play without breaking ( Anderson / Wharton). Likely invest in a actual RB and ideally Pep firing going into his last season. I actually think we walk it next year.

Hopefully, but the World Cup will take its toll.

I can see a side come from nowhere and challenge. Not to Leicester's level but a team like Spurs or Chelsea, galvanised by a new manager and without European football could do well. We'll have at least 5 teams in the CL, potentially 6 and potentially 8 teams in Europe. Chelsea might miss out completely so could benefit from a fresher squad that can properly recover from the World Cup.

I'm hoping we get our recruitment done early, retain as much of the squad as we can and get off to a good start. I'd like to be setting the pace as opposed to playing catch up for once. We've only done that in one season since the takeover! And I think there's only one further occasion we won it before the final day thanks to Arsenal's capitulation.

Difficult if club is going to reward performances like that of Foden with extension. That is a backwards step and sends message poor performances are fine. This action may cheer up some fans but it is a regressive step and will have to get some quality players before it can compete for title.

We are competing for the title now so the question is will we be better next season than this, yes we will. I expect we’ll end up with 81/83 points this season and around 90 next season. So yes think we win it. Your Foden stuff is nonsense and irrelevant

Losing Bernardo is a blow , but we have the nucleus of a very good team , the Premier league has been distinctly average this season ,proven by a side as poor as the Goons is likely to win the league , the City and Dipper sides were head and shoulders the best over the last few years with Pep & Klopp in charge , but Legoheads team is not fit to be mentioned in the same breath.
We need a couple of players a right back to cover for Nunes and if Foden does not step up we need another midfielder , Elliot Anderson looks decent but we had our fingers burnt with another England international in Phillips , so unsure if the Forest lad can reach the level we need.
If we get a couple of top players , i think we are favourites next season and Pep will want to leave with another title

Yes. We'll be a season wiser. It does have some dependency on Pep staying (no real inclination of that happening) and who do we bring in.

you have continually and non-stop full-on slagged off foden for over 18months.
did he shag your mrs or summat.

You might as well ask will we win the league in 10 years time. Or who will win Strictly Come Dancing.
We might have Pep leaving as just one variable.
Best to ask this question in August
