Heart of Midlothian FC Thread

In the past, there's no doubt that if Celtic needed to win 5-0 against us, they'd do that.
Just remains to see if this team really has the ability to stop a defeat from happening. It truly will be the greatest game the club has ever played - a one off game away to a team with 99% of the fanbase at their home stadium whilst being under a national and international spotlight...

Shouldn’t even be in this scenario, a 4-0 loss should have been enough.

I agree with the Hearts manager, it’s disgusting.

Yeah, needed to win by 2 goals at Tynecastle and won 2-0. I wasn't near born, but as our only league triumph it was pretty spectacular as far as they come!
The first big trophy i saw Hearts win was in 1998.
The first games I can remember watching on tv was 1966 world cup final.
Then the 1967 and then the 1968 European cup finals.
We did not get a lot of live games up here when I was a lad.
Scottish cup finals were not shown live on tv until 1977 I think.

I watched the 1998 final on one of the small portable tv's you used to get, funnily enough we were the holders from 1997.

It'd be the first time I've seen a non old firm winner if you do it on Saturday. It'll be interesting to see how Del approaches it. Sit in and play for a draw or a goal on the counter or take advantage of how shite Celtic are this season.

My club is now and always has been completely non sectarian

I’d love to stay and shoot the shit but my daughter overheard my mate saying he’s not going so I am being dragged along to Ibrox as we face the Edinburgh Bigots! Oh the joy….

That's your opener for your first set. Glorious, it will bring the house down. :)

You were warned .

I’m convinced that it’ll be Dominic Robertson for Saturdays game. Would they be brazen enough to even have Kevin Clancy / Francis Connor on VAR?

It wouldn’t surprise me.
Brazen doesnt even come close.

Celtic F.C. v Heart of Midlothian F.C.
William Hill Premiership 2025/26 Top 6
16/05/2026 12:30pm Celtic Park

Referee: Don Robertson
AR1 Calum Spence
AR2 David Roome
VAR Kevin Clancy
AVAR Matthew MacDermid

AR2 David Roome is the linesman that managed to miss just the three Celtic players off side when Juliene scored for Celtic in cup final

Are you talking to yourself?

Nope just pointing out I predicted the most blatantly biased set of Celtic minded officials and the SFA have actually handed them the game

Cheating in plain sight
Just out of curiosity, who are the most blatantly biased set of Rangers minded officials. I'm sure if we asked Magicpole he'd list a few of his own ( often the same ones)

I believe David Dickinson is a Rangers supporter. This is probably why he’s rarely given our games

Outwith him I’m not sure there are any of the more high profile that you’d say were pro Rangers and probably why Rangers have consistently been the most wronged team by VAR decisions

I’d also like to take this opportunity to point out after a quick google check that Kilmarnock have benefited more than any other club since VAR was introduced. To think Ayrshire Blue was having a go at others…..Those pesky facts again
