Why did we freeze our Nico randomly to rely on an old out of form Kovacic while also having a revitalized Foden who is trying to a World Cup in the bench?

Nico I'm not bothered by. The game would look pretty much the same if he was in the midfield.

But not starting Foden/Cherki is puzzling.

Really, really hope we're able to get younger, faster and more dynamic in the midfield. This is not it.
