End the thread FFS why prolong it
Looking at that list, we were lucky to even be in a title race.Everton away
Forest at home
Bournemouth away (to an extent)
Brighton away (to an extent)
Chelsea at home

Spurs away

Sunderland away
West Ham away
Rags away
Probably loads more but that Everton game was the one. The league went that night.
Rather them than the scousers or the other lot.
And only 5 recovered from.losing positions17 points dropped from winning positions. That's where the title was lost. Not today.

I think it needs a day or so before it’s put out of its misery. But now is not the time to kill it imo. People need a bit of time to express themselves. And then everyone can move on.End the thread FFS why prolong it
It’s a misleading stat - if you’re not behind much you can’t recover many pointsAnd only 5 recovered from.losing positions
I just hate the us v Liverpool narrative. We won 2 then 4 in a row , a domestic quadruple, THE treble - they won everything once over the same period. It was a rivalry in the same way Robinson v La Motta was a rivalry in that we smacked them about constantly and they won once. The Rags I agree but after the scousers won it I wouldn't be that arsed about them winning it again.
Congrats Arsenal. They deserve it. Hopefully we will be back next year.
The only positive I can find right now is that Arsenal have been absolutely shocking but profited from no real challenger. I don't think the style, methods or quirks of Arteta have actually made a difference but he will be convinced they work.
Get our act together and we will run away with it next season. They might have got over the line this season, but I don't believe they've got multiple titles in them unless we fail to turn up again.
