Pep to leave at the end of the season

But for the leak to come out then the decision is made? And if Maresca is indeed in a way leaking it/shit stirring to get the job then maybe tell him he`s out of line ?
Smoke and mirrors. Pep could have said I am gone post Bournemouth. He hasn't. He has said he has a year left on his contract and wants to think and discuss it with Khaldoon. Obviously Pep and Khaldoon don't go into the meeting with a blank slate, they already must have some opinions but I am not privy to them, and I don't think the press are. I think the press know that City have been in negotiations with Maresca but they might have mis-assessed how the land lies.

He's gone. Just watched the Bernado interview and those trophy plinths on the pitch that whew leaked in the video are no where to be seen. I've been on the fence, but not anymore.

They are part of a documentary called "Relentless" which hasn't been released yet. There's a trailer for it on the City website.

I heard that his family love the city (yes; even with the rain). They're pretty much adopted mancs now; didn't some of them go to uni in Manchester. Probably all speak like Paul Calf now!
facts...

his eldest, maria 25, lives in london, she#s a model and an influencer, but she does sometimes come up to manchester to see her dad.

marius 22, lives in dubai, the ceo of 3 companies.

valentina 17, lives with her mum in barcelona, studying politics and language, but she is often on placements abroad like paris.

that's why i'm not buying this idea he is wanting to leave for family reasons.

he is well and truly divorced from christina but they stay amicable for the sake of the children.

They don’t want him, but can drag out compensation from us by being awkward.

How does that work? Surely the time to make a complaint to the PL was at the start of the year when it is assumed City approached Maresca. It wasn't City that made Chelsea terminate his contract for no compensation. Not sure I understand their problem or their timing, tbh.

I think it is entirely possible, but with it being much more mutual between them.

I do also think Pep wanted to leave last year, but stuck around to do right by the club through the rebuild and the 115 verdict wait. And that identifying a new manager early was always part of the joint intention.
yeah.

maybe it was simply guardiola really doubting himself late last calendar year after 18months of not being up to his own expectations, and whether the players are still onboard.
so he spoke to koolhand about it, who naturally had to look at a possible replacement just in case, hence the leaks.

dunno.
he said yesterday he needs to talk to the chairman and the players.

Well at least we are going from turgid to turgid.

It’s actually quite amusing that Maresca, with the Chelsea pub team beat Luis Enrique’s PSG 3–0 in the Club World Cup final — the same PSG side that had previously steamrolled Kompany’s Bayern, Alonso’s Real Madrid and Chivu’s Inter earlier in the tournament.

Not half as much as the moaners on bluemoon
Moaners? On Bluemoan Bluemoon?

The football they play is turgid (the much-lauded invincibles weren't much better, a lot of draws and 1-0 wins) and it's not a great watch, BUT we have to concede that you don't get to the top of the table and the CL final unless you have something about you. We all know that we're not quite up to standard (because we're rebuilding, not because we're crap or didn't try hard enough, you could see what it meant to them all last night after the match), but plenty have won the league on similar points totals. They're not going to go on and dominate for decades that's for sure.

PGMOL have said a few times now that a club should of had a pen think twice against Arsenal and twice they should of had a player sent of and don’t forget the leeway with the grabbing players goalies form corners! This season they’ve decided by hook or by crook Arsenal was going to win it! They ain’t worthy they are bottle job cheating time wasting wnakers!

Such a weird set of events. I can’t remember so much uncertainty surrounding a potentially departing Manager ever…probably because most are fired! Even bacon face wasn’t this confusing.

Yea a tournament in which a saudi side beat us too. The whole tournament was an off season beauty parade kick-about. Doesn't hold any real weight.

And yes I did want us to win it. And yes, I did stay up for Al-Ain.
