Pep to leave at the end of the season

Nah

A game with nothing riding on it against a hungover Villa team, and if there is pitch invasion (very possible) and they take too long setting up the farewell some fans will piss off as they can say goodbye the day after.
Anyone invading the pitch tomorrow needs knocking out.

Going to be a sad day tomorrow. I think end of an era is thrown out to often. But tomorrow is an end of an era of dominance. With all the stories coming out about Pep, who ever follows him has to integrate with our fans as much as he did.

That said, I’m excited to see the next era. No manager in recent memory has been as influential as Pep. But that doesn’t mean someone can’t come in and exceed expectations. Look at Enrique, on the verge of a back to back European Cup with a team that I would class as a “super” team. Results on the pitch can be replicated and with the backing a City manager has got, I think there’s a good chance we will see success in the near future.

DAM I'm in the US at the moment, hope the club records the whole of the final day so I can get to see everything that will happen on Peps final game ?

I love what he said about Joe, I think Pep realised over the years that Joe was proper city, and how special that is - as well as not being overly wedded to the idea of a complete ball playing keeper.

Can tell that hurts him on a personal level - this is the thing I’ll miss the most about Pep but ironically it’s the reason he’s leaving; he sees the bigger picture, it’s more than football - it’s history, culture, people.
