PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Just ask any other fan what was our charge by UEFA when we over spent? Well if was 50m kicked out of champs league nee appealed and ended up with I think 20m and a squad reduction! When you tell them that just tell them rags over spent broke ffp rules and was just fined 250k! See that there was the influence of those major clubs in Europe at the time! Now because all the big clubs break the rules it’s a tiny fine! Now look at Chelsea 70+ risks broken never constantly talked about sporting advantage galore now just a ten million fine! Sorry it was a witch hunt from initially Europe to then the premier league and still going on now!

Everybody is going to say we won because we could afford to buy them off anyway, that's the level of their mentality unfortunately, so if we go after anybody and hit them hard it will only reinforce their belief that we can do it because we have the money to do it.

Besides, we can hardly go after anybody before the verdict, it's going to make us look both foolish (at best) and vindictive if we're found guilty of even the slightest misdeameanour.

Believe me, they'll suffer enough when we're cleared, it's their worst nightmare. I do hope we hit the PL for a significant amount of compensation and a public apology though. Masters will have to go at the very least.

Why would we need to ‘ have bought them off !’ If we / when we win ?

Just say to the numbsculls , if it was just about ‘ ‘buying them off ‘ surley it would have been easier to buy the ‘ premier league’ off in the first place rather than try to buy the panel of arbitrators off !

After all we all know who the real crooks are ?

Ps , in my opinion , City will not go for redress against anyone , our owners are just not like that . They will treat it with the disdain it deserves and just swat it away and continue our march to global dominance!

And they will not stop until they have achieved this .

Outside of the UK , literally nobody gives a shit about 115 !, it’s just in our own country that they beat the drum , but like many have posted on here , like it or not. City are a global brand !, and a collection of fabricated charges proven or not will not make a dent in our owners vision for our great club.

And it keeps on going and we still keep on winning, it reminds of that scene in john wick but its khaldoon telling masters that city will come for you and you will do nothing because you can do nothing.
 
The caveat is that we'll be found guilty of none cooperation. Even if all the other charges are false, the media, rival fans and the general public will use that as justification that the club lost. There is no way we can 'win'.

My dad told me all those years ago that anyone could support United but it was character building to support City.

Exactly. And I'd infinitely rather be a supporter on the end of this shit, than a fan of one of those initiating it. Every one of them should be hanging their heads in shame.

They wouldn't say anything to me, they do to my son's, as I would be asking the really difficult questions like tell me what City are being charged with and explain to me why there are so many charges. None of them have the answers because they know nothing.

People will complain even if we only get found guilty of non-cooperation. Happened at CAS - City chose the oanel, time barrred, brown paper bags etc.

For me, if thats the worst we cop, I'll just laugh at anyone that tries the same. We've got the perfect response that after all these years of investigation, no-one has been able to find any evidence that we've done the wrong thing.

  • If Levy and Lewis both stepped down as a result of something connected to our case, then it's clear that the outcome must be known in some form (although not published) and that there is some sort of discussion or horse trading going on behind the scenes. Their departures may have been complete coincidence of course, and if they were then that line of reasoning fails.
  • Gobshite Brady clearly stood down because of the Sullivan case, so we can rule out her departure being connected to our case.


If people do know (and I believe they do, as I've said) then it's limited to a handful of people such as Khaldoon, Simon Cliff and possibly Soriano & the directors. None of them has any motive to leak, particularly if there is something going on behind the scenes that requires them to keep it quiet. And if the PL have come out of it badly then they've absolutely no motivation to leak.

I find the thing that hurts them most is when I smile smugly at their evil comments. They’re hoping to make me angry & worried. I just say “actually, I don’t think about charges - I’m just enjoying your pain”
 
Our owner has only managed to achieve a certain amount of fairness by legal action.
This says more about the PL and it's Mission Statement than 115 charges made by an organisation seemingly obsessed with opposing just one team and the way it is managed.

Not sure we can ever beat their control of the media so perhaps the war will continue whatever the legal outcome.
