Other Clubs' WSL Players you'd have at City

She's openly a red. Her family gave the media the pictures of her in the United kits as a kid so they could push she got her dream move last summer.

No doubt she's regretting it now.

I know she grew up a red. If you think United was her dream move tho then you are mistaken. She didnt really want to leave City and has loads of mates at the club. Only agreed to the move once it became clear we wanted to use her as a makeweight for Clinton and she wasnt gonna get regular game time with us. Her joining United was City's idea, not hers.

I don't believe that's true mate. She pushed for the move, before our interest in Clinton.

Ultimately, she must regret it.

This simply isnt true.

"I am really happy to be here and can't wait to get started. I wanted to break out of the boundaries and push myself to take on a new challenge.

"I'm the sort of person who wants to keep improving and pushing limits, and I think this is the perfect place for me to do that."

She says herself she wanted a new challenge mate

That's such a bog standard interview response. But regardless, the United move wasnt something that came from her camp or something she agitated for. This is how it panned out:

City wanted Clinton having tracked her for a while

Clinton wanted City because she (correctly) believed the United project wasnt going anywhere

United didnt want to lose Clinton but as she was in the last year of her contract said they'd allow the move but only if Jess Park went the other way

City weren't massively keen to let Park go but given the cover we had in her position and how much we wanted Clinton we agreed to it and put it to the player.

Knowing she wasnt going to get meaningful minutes with us, plus the fact that City had agreed to the United move and that United would play her in her favoured position, Park agreed to the move.

City gave United Park plus £200k in return for Clinton.

City didn't have a deal with United that involved Park and Clinton mate. They were separate deals. We're not going to agree - neither of us know the truth, I'm just basing mine on the words that came out of Jess' mouth

I've watched her every chance I could this year and have been very impressed. Much as I rate Beney (and to be fair she's still developing) and Aubas technically good but very lightweight, Godfrey is technically better than both, bigger, stronger and faster too. If it came down to it I'd swap either and it'd be an upgrade, not sure if Michelle Kang will part with her though.
I'd have Earps from PSG in a heartbeat as well as there's no chance Tullis Joyce or Hampton will be allowed to leave their respective clubs unless there's a big fall out.
How about Niamh Charles for Left back, seems to have had her nose pushed out at Chelsea by Baltimore and now Buurman? England International and getting splinters in her arse at Chelsea?
Ha ha called it on 24.02.26

Given Jess Park now plays for Leigh Sports Village I dont think we should pay her much thought or attention. She left, it happens and without her we went on to win the League and FA Cup so we are hardly weaker without her in the squad.

Good luck to her and all.....in fact, no. I hope the team she is in now loses every single game they play.,
