I thought Iriola was off to manage Athletic Bilbao. Hope he doesn’t rock up at the Candle factory
Shows how lucky that Bald Fraud was with us to survive ten yearsFive managers in a row now who won the title in their first Premier League season and then either left/got sacked within two years.
Slot - sacked one year after
Conte - sacked one year after
Pellegrini - left two years after
Ancelotti - sacked one year after
Mourinho - left two years after
And although it wasn't his first PL season, Ranieri was sacked eight months after guiding Leicester to the title in his first season.
Then we should be in for himIraola is the best available manager in the market.
A Slot opens up on Merseyside…Prediction headline on at least one paper tomorrow-“ that’s yer slot”
He doesn’t have the personality of Klopp. It will be interesting to see how it goesIraola's style is closer to Klopp's gung-ho style. His Bournemouth team's pressing and off the ball work was tremendous. If he can replicate that there, it will be very tough to beat them. But, its easier said than done. A big club appointment doesn't always work for managers like him. Overall gutted if they get him, he came across as a likeable bloke and a better manager than Slot!
It's the dipper way...Dipper fans instrumental in his departure?

Not sure about that. Mo Salah would make a brilliant player manager. Best years ahead of him as a player and a tactical genius also. Sign him up now.Iraola is the best available manager in the market.

Quite possibly. I think the most telling thing about their pursuit of him was, despite having already got Ekitike for £70m and him doing ok, and despite a defence that badly needed a boost and some kind of succession plan, they still went for isak. Either that's poor planning or getting swept away in a flood of emotions. Knowing Liverpool FC, probably both.Fully recovered? Isak is a Darren Anderton MK2.
And if that doesn't work there's always the good old death threats to get your way.Blame game?
Has he ever managed a team playing twice a week?Iraola looks amazing when his teams play once a week. His teams fatigue badly when playing twice a week.
Only when Bournemouth progressed in the cups.Has he ever managed a team playing twice a week?
