probably City still undecided between Read, Palestra, Porro

It's totally unsustainable in any season, never mind multiple seasons. No team has ever won the league cup and champions league in a season. We are already at a disadvantage playing in our league vs the other top leagues in terms of scheduling, competitiveness, physicality, winter breaks and cup competitions without adding in the league cup.I think that choice is now unsustainable across multiple seasons and is detrimental to our chances of winning the League and Champions League together. I appreciate that winning breeds a winning mentality, but this squad now has sufficient experience of domestic cups, and we should now prioritise the bigger two trophies. That might be difficult for Maresca, who will want to prove himself a winner, but I hope he looks at the bigger picture and aims for back-to-back 'doubles'.
Read has a hamstring like a banjo string, and if it’s pinging in the tension of the Eredivisie, heaven help him haring back in England. Those YouTube clips never seem to show players on the treatment table for weeks on end or being substituted in the second half.Never seen read play. Heard he isn’t the best technically. Palestra is another Serie A product. There’s not 1 world class player in that league. Porro is solid but nothing more. The other two make sense since porro is age wise similar to nunes.
I will defo be in the minority on this one!I would
More concerned with his present and future.Dumfries about to sign for Real Madrid, this will be controversial and wont go down well, but i wouldnt say no to Trent Alexander Arnold despite his past.
Inter are in for Palestra as a Dumfries replacementSeems like the most linked names are Gusto, Porro, Read and Palestra
Palestra has gone quite cold which is a shame as I like what he'd bring as he is a strong runner, has good stamina, likes to invert and while he doesnt really utilise his size hes a fair bit bigger than the others
Porro I don't understand, dont think he's as bad as some think he is but seems the least likely to thrive under Maresca. From what uve seen as he's always looked better as a wing back closer to the touchline, quite similar to Nunes who I think I think is just better, not sure how suitable he is to investing
Gusto has been average at Chelsea, but Chelsea are a mess and he was one of the better players under Maresca. Also he's still young, only 23 and has a wealth of experience plus hes relatively prety robust and isn't injured much (last serious injury was in 2022)
Read is the most exciting but perhaps the most risky as hes at a weaker league and seems to get a fair few injuries (multiple hamstrings
I know nothing about Palestra.Inter are in for Palestra as a Dumfries replacement
Spurs refused to sell Porro
We definitely don't want porroI know nothing about Palestra.
I know plenty about about Porro.
Porro is so poor.
They are now talking to Dortmund regarding Couto. Would lead one to believe Palestra isn’t moving there or they’ve been priced out of a deal.Inter are in for Palestra as a Dumfries replacement
