You know what they will say that if we didn’t talk to Maresca they would have kept him they would have got champs league football and made 150m! You just know how these Americans work they are rancid owners who are ruining English football! Oh look how quick they opened there mouth about it utter scum!

Chelsea are shaping up for a legal battle with Manchester City over their putative appointment of Enzo Maresca, who left Stamford Bridge in contested circumstances at the start of the year

As a football club they were more than happy to take payments to agents from funds elsewhere away from their club for the likes of Edin Hazard who City were in for. Then used the record transfer fee at the time they received from Real Madrid to then recruit players that went on to beat City in the 2021 champions league final.

RAWK must be in shambles atm. Now they are stuck with Slot.

Thought the rumors were just the media putting 2 and 2 together, surprising he's actually picking Chelsea. Good appointment tbf, but Chelsea's issues are bigger than the head coach.
I just tried to go and have a look.

It’s still "registered members only" that can access the forums.

Insecure twats.

It will be interesting to see how he fares there. If he does well and the scousers struggle next season they will implode lol.

They have to push for the league next season. No Europe, 1 game a week, & they’re spending at least 200m this summer. No excuses

I thought hw would have been naive going to the dipper when you look at how much of a rebuild they need '& he wouldn't have the luxury of spending £500m but Chelsea with the billions they've spent & no champions league football are in a bigger mess.

You look at their starting 11 & there's probably 5 names that are guarenteed starts

Cucurella, Caicado, Enzo, Palmer & James. James is constantly injured & Enxo wants out. They have quite a few players who have potential but aren't consistant enough to make Chelsea certs for top 4 next season

Sorry to hear this news. I actually saw Bobby playing for Cork Celtic back in the mid seventies, when I used go to Tolka Park every other week to watch Home Farm. Bobby was a smallish player with almost a sort of hunchbacked aspect about him. A tenacious little fella too. RIP.

That’s very sad news.

Bobby was a Chelsea first team regular, when I first became interested in football (1970j and he was part of the Pensioners' side that beat dirty Leeds in the infamous Cup final of that year.

R. I. P. Bobby.

Same as me. The 1970 cup final. Osgood's diving header. I was 13 and we were allowed to stay up to watch the midweek replay even though we had school the next day.
