Khaldoon's end of season interview | Online now (p3)

Not watched one of these for the last two or three seasons. He's like a doctor, who has a brilliant bedside manner but, when you've listened to him and thought "What a great doctor", you later realise he hasn't actually told you what's wrong with you and how he's going to cure you.
True but you would be confident he will fix whatever is wrong with you. His track record suggests he gets it right. The interviews are a bit of extra fluff at the end of the season but many find them reassuring. For me I have seen us bring in quality players in last 12 months , open a stadium extension and a hotel , and freeze the prices for a year - that more than words tells me we are still a very serious club who are looking to build on whats been achieved. When the manager starts he will have the tools to deliver sustained success albeit maybe not at the crazy Pep levels.

Interesting reference to levels of football IQ in players.

Not quite as important as "does he track back" - but it's close in terms of the attributes that we look for and need from players if they are to be successful.

Part One wasn't particularly interesting, but will give anyone nervous about our future plenty of reassurance. The club knows what it's doing. They've been prepared for Pep's exit and got their new transfer targets in mind already so the future remains blue!

Part Two will hopefully provide some reassurance on the charges (again). He can't say much but hopefully will reiterate their confidence which will be good to hear considering they've now been through the hearing.
