Still need an equivalent. If Anderson does help us start dominating both our Domestic and European rivals midfield then fair enough he is worth the transfer fee.Rodri was the best midfielder in the world. If we're only buying a player based on whether they're as good as prime Rodri then we wont buy anyone.

NoReijnders look likely to leave, we gonna have 6 midfield option include Elliot. Rodri, Nico G, Elliot, Kovacic, Cherki, Foden. Would this be enough ?

Rodri's tactically better for starters. Rodri's scored a Champions League winning goal and helped Spain win the last Euro's (before injury robbed him almost two season's)

Wouldn't be surprised if Gonzalez and Kovacic also moved on this summer. We could be in for a complete midfield overhaul. There were still signs of that in his first season. Injuries didn't help with the settling process.Not when he first joined though!!!!
Back to Anderson, I'll be very surprised (and disappointed) if the deal doesn't get done. The fee might be excessive, but I think we should just pay it to get our top target, rather than making a stand and ending up with a lesser player as we've done in the past.

There is nothing to suggest Rodri doesn't still want to play for us. Put the Real Madrid propganda to one side for a while.
There is loads of noise apart from Real Madrid in the media, added to that Rodri stated you can't turn down offers from certain clubs and if that's true he goes in the summer while we can get money for him.
Speculation is part of football, opinions aren't formed by propaganda they are just that, opinions.

Still was much better than Anderson.

To him it's a business decision we have to remember that in all probability some fans think that it's still the 70's and kissing the badge and showing huge amounts of loyalty was a thing, commodities move on now the highest bidder in mostly king.
