I’m picked for the 2s and we’re playing a 1st team going for our mixed league tomorrow, so should be short anyway.

Well, had a great night in Headingley last night, and the match saw some fine batting entertainment from Bairstow etc, but from a Lancs pov twas embarrassing stuff. Enjoyed the Tetleys though!

This is the result of the club focusing on Hotels and conferencing. The cricket side is completely secondary. We can’t even hire a half decent coach - just employ former players who are well below the standard required.

Trafford Council are prosecuting Lancashire Cricket Club and Live Nation after someone was injured at the Red Hot Chlli Peppers gig, and there are questions over what that means for future events at the ground, and there still is no Safety Certificate.

Chris Green was more than decent and broke his thumb in the previous game.

Pity Buttler wasn't up for it and Salt was injured, would have been a different team.

Some absolutely dross bowling last night, the only one who looked decent was Hartley, I assume Mahmood is just back from injury, he just looked hopeless ?

The batting was also pretty dreadful, 6 batters straight bowled, not often you see that in T20, where caught or run out is more common.

I didn't see it, I've been avoiding watching them recently, as it's just depressing stuff.

I thought I'd watch last night as I thought they might show a bit of bottle, given the opponent, it was like watching a car crash sadly.
