PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Rumbles its imminent June last year & 3 months later both Levy & Lewis are gone in boardroom shake ups. Both long term senior positions & both outspoken critics of City who are known to have pushed / lobbied hard against them.

Confidence from City with massive spending & planning to tell all at the conclusion.

Im happy to wait & see rather than trust me, leaving has nothing to do with this.

This case wouldn’t have seen the light of day without lobbying, people have to fall & it’s either City’s main guys or the premier league & it’s lobbyists. So far city have stayed strong.

The latter is certainly a good indicator. And a combination of all of things I wrote are more. Not sure your Jaffa cake case is a good example as suspect it didn't run to anywhere near 10 weeks. Be surprised if it was 10 days. But anyone that wants to argue it is a simple case (and many here have), go for it.

I’ve not suggested it is. I’ve suggested it could be.

And the Jaffa cake case referred more to the amount of material, which would have been significant.

I guess that begs the question why, given that context, the parties accepted similar work (presumably likely to be complex). I don’t think the panel have covered themselves in glory here. Anyways hope the outcome comes soon

When the charges were first announced, that number - 115. First I laughed and then I said to my son "ok then it's a fight to the death." Nothing has made me change my mind about that since.

& why so much documentation unless it’s what is unearthed in discovery. We are talking about accounts, proof of payment & contracts….
