Never in a million years I thought they would have opened with Xanadu what an openingThe answer for the first three is ….
Xanadu
Limelight
Far Cry
Haven’t seen any footage. Did any of the songs sound different with an additional keyboard player? Was curious about thatJust reviewed the setlist and watched a bit of video, including all of the opening Xanadu and the important bits of Tom Sawyer.
Setlist is fantastic.
Anika is superb.
Suspect Geddy’s vocals will divide opinions but they always have! Aging is almost always toughest on singers but I think he seems to be doing well if you take that into account. Looked like he was having a ball and was a bit like a proud father in respect of the other half of the rhythm section. Also, he played more keyboards than I was expecting based on the bits I looked at.
Don’t want to see much video before the first Manchester show, which I am now looking forward to more than ever.
I see they actually had Aimee Mann sing in person, guess that is just for LA.
Not that I noticed. Only watched two full tracks a bits of 3 others. They sounded how you would expect Rush to sound.Haven’t seen any footage. Did any of the songs sound different with an additional keyboard player? Was curious about that
Not so I noticed , just seemed to let Geddy roam the stage more than usual and helped out well with backing vocals on some songs eg The GardenHaven’t seen any footage. Did any of the songs sound different with an additional keyboard player? Was curious about that
Oh I expect a live album.I didn't expect them to open with Xanadu. I thought they might keep us waiting for that and then followed by Limelight. Wow two of my top half a dozen songs right there. I'm sure it will change by the time they get to Manchester. I have a sneaky feeling they will write one more album together to mark Anikas time with the band and if they can mix Geddy's vocals in the production maybe even a live album.
He sounded great to me!Just reviewed the setlist and watched a bit of video, including all of the opening Xanadu and the important bits of Tom Sawyer.

Yes, probably, but wow to see her out there singing on that song, it gave me goosebumps.Don’t want to see much video before the first Manchester show, which I am now looking forward to more than ever.

I think the majority (will) think Geddy’s voice is better than it has been in year’s and that the vocal coach he has used made a positive difference. He sounded great to me!

Very well done setlist with "Bravado", "Vital Signs", "Natural Science", "The Garden", and "By-Tor" being ones I'd really like to hear when I see them.
"Those guys are not spring chickens..." as the opening said.
