New home kit?

I love the blue shorts. I've always preffered the all blue look (from the late 70's, early 80's kit). Just makes the kit look more classy and less fussy in my opinion.

I was worried there would be some navy blue in the kit to tie-in with the sponsor logo - thankfully I actually like the socks. We have worn socks like that in the late 50's - but how much better does this look...

That looks mint, and different enough from last 2 seasons to be unique. Shame they didn't go with that.

Agreed in my head I almost hear Jim Bowen saying "here's what you could have won"

Just isn't Manchester City.

That's not quite true is it...? 1951-1960

I've made this point before, we wore a fluorescent orange third kit once upon a time, and even a canary yellow away kit once too. Doesn't make it Manchester City, or part our tradition does it?

We have our traditional colours, and everyone knows what they are. Fact is, this new kit is a tacky eyesore which is more Coventry City than Manchester City.

I'm absolutely gutted that in our breakthrough season we'll be wearing this abomination among the elite of Europe.

Spot on

It's not about buying it! 90% of posters on here won't be buying the City shorts no matter what colour the are. The point is about our identity, City wear white shorts. Most posters want to see City in City colours, not Coventry's!

I think the Goalkeeper kit looks great with the soundwave but I hate the home kit. I will only be getting the away kit this year.

Shirts Ok, Socks OK, Shorts are a huge no no, i hate blue shorts, we should always have white. Blue shirts, white shorts, blue socks, it's not hard.
