The biggest derby ever and the Polies decide to stand down the riot gear!
Whay would you anounce this to the public?
The bit that makes me laugh is where they say they will have it in vans nearby incase they need to get changed quickly.
I can just picture the scene:
It starts going off outside the away end and a copper on horse back gets on his loud hailer,
"Can you bear with us for a couple of minutes please lads, we need to get our proper gear on"
a couple of minutes later........
"right, as you were lads"
It reminds me of the right scen from Only Fools and Horses
