Will any potential first teamers be unleashed against us?

I believe you're either away already or soon to be on tour and was wondering what kind of team you might be putting out and how many you think you'll take to the wonderful ground* that is Boundary Park?

As many as possible please as boy do we need every penny!!

I'm hoping if you play a couple of young lads, Dickov may be looking to recruit a few loanees?

*OK, shithole would be more apt.

There seems to be a bit of confusion around it at the moment and conflicting stories.

Last one I heard was that we had the Birmingham game pencilled in but City offered their availability and we accepted it for obvious financial reasons.

Not too sure atm.

I'd rather it was City put it that way.

Yes, we're playing Malaysia the day before over there. Trouble is most of the best EDS/Academy players are over there in Austria now and may go to the far east too. God knows what team will be turning up at Boundary Park.

This came from the Oldham Chronicle but could be bollocks...

City’s Euro stars to play at Boundary Park
Reporter: MATTHEW CHAMBERS
Date online: 12 July 2012

MARIO Balotelli and company are set to grace Boundary Park later this month in a game full of intrigue and prestige.

A friendly has been fixed between Premier League champions Manchester City and Athletic for July 31 (7.45pm kick-off) to give game time to the club’s Euro 2012 stars. It replaces the Birmingham City fixture due that night.

Though it has come about quickly, Athletic are overjoyed about landing such a lucrative game — one that former City striker, now Athletic boss Paul Dickov and club officials have been chasing for some time.

The majority of City's first-team squad will definitely NOT feature — the squad will be in the Far East on tour.

But there lies the prospect of the club’s Euro 2012 players taking to the field against Athletic. Italy striker Balotelli, Spain schemer and winner’s medal holder David Silva, France duo Gael Clichy and Samir Nasri and England trio Joe Hart, Joleon Lescott and James Milner have been given leave from tour duties.

Playing Athletic offers a chance to get non-touring players match fit in a game sure to be a big hit with supporters.

I thinks its almost certain to be youngsters, the players like lopes and evans who are in Austria now will be replaced with Balo, Hart etc for the asia tour.

Limerick FC have announced that they will play English Premier League champions Manchester City in a friendly at Thomond Park on Sunday, August 5 at 19:00 BST.

City are expected to field a full team against Pat Scully's side with Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez and a 'new signing' touted to feature by the organiser of the event, Damien O'Brien of Iconic Worldwide Events.

What about the tickets is it pay at the gate or do you need to purchase a ticket in advance of the game.

Maybe they've just said that to ensure people turn up.

In terms of the Oldham game, any idea how much the tickets will be?
