Is anyone else really rebellious and has yorkshire puddings with lamb?
Yep, a roast is not a roast without yorkshire puds as far as I'm concerned.

Had Yorkshires with roast gammon last night. Did them with a chicken roast last week. I do twenty four between us - two adults, a 4 and a 12 year old and they all get eaten. The 8 year old doesn't like them.

Anyone who uses Aunt Bessies or similar ready made ones should be shot.

Roast Lamb with Roasted Parsnips, Carrots & Yorkshire Puddings, accompanied by a thick gravy and mint sauce!
And a round of thick white bread to mop up the debris at the end!

So far the definite answers are; 13 lamb and 14 Beef. The cow takes pole position.

Will leave this a bit more before the next contending dishes.

I will even it up, New Zealand Lamb roast dinner please with all the trimmings.

Re: The Grub battle Roast lamb dinner Vs the Roast Beef.

Roast beef cooked rare but got to have horseradish sauce with it and homemade Yorkshire puds.

Yorkshire puds only go with beef, can't get my head round people having them with pig/chicken/lamb/goose/etc etc!!

Yorkshire puds always with lamb or beef. I don't put them with anything else, although my old man has them with any roast he makes.
