Arsenal AWAY Ticket Price (merged)

Re: Arsenal AWAY Ticket Details.

We would definitely have sold more of these. I think I was the only person to get a pair off general sale, and that was only because I rang up at 8:58am on the day. Then they put it to sold out about 20 minutes later - despite the high price would it not have been fairer to keep it open for London blues who don't have many points? Aways hardly ever go to general and then when they do the club decides to make the decision for us that we don't want to go.

Think we made a big deal about this now the media have got wind and now we're being shown up a bit

The media are trying to show us up and this is one of the reasons I have stated that I am going to Arsenal and any other match I can until there is a NATIONAL BOYCOTT. Us boycotting does nothing apart from making others laugh at us, whereas if the FSF arranged a National Boycott then everyone would sit up and take proper notice instead of the City fans being pilloried. Mind you, as our team/management/owners are getting pilloried all the time I guess it was time for the media to turn on us!!

It will mean very little without the backing of the Football Supporters Federation.

Exactly what I thought but as I previously posted if your a fan of a top club and decide not to go there will be someone to take your place be it someone on low points , some new fan who has never been or in this case an arsenal fan.

This.

I really think (hope) we have got the ball rolling and people will take note

Re: Arsenal AWAY Ticket Details.

I'm sure that some City fans have boycotted the game on principle. And many more would like to go but cannot afford the high ticket price.

But the real reason that City haven't sold the full allocation is that, because of a couple of days of slow sales in the week before Xmas, the club weren't prepared to risk a potential loss of up to £55k on unsold tickets.

Yes, it would easily have sold out but at least this way, it's drawn some media attention. Ironic really.
