We have a fantastic team but not a fantastic squad. Once we get injuries to one or two players we struggle massively. That showed today.

A bit disappointed that we didn't finish them off in the first half. We didn't react to their subs, that was obvious. There was also a lack of
cajoling from RM. Maybe he knew this one was out of reach after the Chelsea and Manure match, maybe then he could have given some younger strikers a day out.

I know many of us are bemoaning the decision to stick Lescott up front towards the end of the game, but on a really serious note, can someone please explain any logical reason for why Mancini may have done this?
Surely any footballing decision made by a manager or his assistant must be made tactically, for the benefit of the team and the outcome of the game, but no matter how I try I really can't get my head around this one.
