Remarkably subdued this morning (heard him whilst doing the school run - I have kids, so no Saville jokes please). He only piped up when Big Mac was worried some nutters might turn up at racing and abuse Sheikh Mohammed following the doping scandal. St Ron was quick to praise racing fans "no, racing fans aren't like that, they're not like football fans".

Me too. I didn't listen today - I'm sick of the c*nt, but great to hear that he's been pulled up for his blatant lies. Like St Helens Blue said "you wouldn't forget being at that match and witnessing that". I was there, it happened right in front of me. I was sat in M.E.N. exec seats (our kid won a comp in the paper) and believe me, yoonited fans were not horrified, they were shouting "get up yer c*nt" to Haaland and pissed off that Keane got a red. Me and my bruv took dogs abuse from all around for shouting "you fuckin animal!" at Keane. Luckily as we were in exec seats, the mongs couldn't get hold of us. The funny thing was, that the blazered security man who was 'protecting' us, was actually a mate of ours who is a cockney red and hoolie (YCMIU), who just said "fackin' ell boys... had to be fackin you didn't it!", he was dying to chuck us out or give us a slap... we saw him for a pint later that night, he was pissing his sides. My tale is true, I was not playing cricket for Prestwich CC.

I think Mccririck was hoping to give Irani some stick. When they were discussing the Newcastle result, he said he was stood on the Gallowgate End in 1925 and saw Newcstle's biggest home defeat, which would make him in his late 90's. I rarely listen to the show, I might listen to 15mis from time to time but from what I have gathered, he brings and already dubious station into disrepute. I'd be surprised if he is there next season
