I'm looking at visiting another Island from Koh Samui in May, just a day trip or so, anyone been to Samui and done something similar, I'm staying in Bophut, be grateful for any advice. Thanks

koh tao or koh phangan, will also be samui in april staying in chaweng

Cheers mate, will look into that, know Cheweng, spent a bit of time there last year, love the place but going to try Vietnam next year.

I took a mini bus from bkk (victory monument) to koh samet which only cost me 200 baht.
are the minibuses as cheap and frequent for the return trip aswell?

make sure you visit maya beach, and try a couple of nights in koh lanta
