Trying to think of 11 England players who've started a full international while still at City, but struggling to find a left back.

Picking a right back wasn't easy either to be honest. Only two that sprang to mind were David White or James Milner, both of whom weren't at their best when tried there... Any thoughts?

Hmm, I was going to suggest Glyn Pardoe for left back but he only ever got to U23 level, is that cheating?

Lescott has played left back for us in an emergency but not for England.

Peter Barnes as a left wing back - not ideal but the best I can think of.
