If this effects club football, he will miss City vs. Liverpool but should be back in time for Chelsea vs. Liverpool and United vs. Liverpool if he's still there. :-)

Wrong. It's rubbish. In effect he will miss about six or seven weeks of the Season and a few International friendlies.
