Vroom vroom!

Vroom only uses two wheels.

Anyway, I'd want a cast-iron guarantee that a wheel was comin' off Hamilton's car on the first corner!
Unlikely; Nicole will be there to make sure his nuts are well and truly tightened.

*That's my coat, on the end hook*

Anyway; if I was Rosberg, I'd watch my back!

Anyone ever been on one of these F1 VIP package weekends?

I've been offered between 2-4 tickets to any of the races on the 2015 calendar, and the package includes:

- Accomodation
- Complimentary Food & Drink
- Pit Lane Entry
- Grandstand Seating
- Black Tie Evening Event with Drivers / Teams

Only thing I have to pay for is the flights. Already enquired about Monaco, Abu Dhabi, Nurburgring & Silverstone.

I was wondering if anyone here had been on these and was able to tell me what the whole experience was like? The Monaco tickets, for example, are priced upto around £9k, so I'm imagining wandering around Monte Carlo with a glass of Champers as if I'm Hector Riva and just won the lottery. I just want a reality check if needs be, but as everything is being described as free (flights aside), I'm finding it hard to not to get giddy.

I say...

I was lucky enough to win a pair of Paddock Club tickets to the British GP at Silverstone three years ago.

Full VIP Hospitality treatment as guests of the Ferrari team. Loads of complimentary Champagne and food, pit lane access and guided tour, meet and greet with drivers and 'slebs. Top day out.

Highly recommended. :)

So it turns out I (we) will be travelling by private jet and staying in this hotel. Anyone stayed here?

Hello, I'm Extremely Jealous, nice to meet you.

Ill certainly be feeling a little out of place quaffing champers alongside celebs, that's for sure!

incredibly lucky! i've always fancied doing an F1 weekend. I did ask my driving instructor a few years back after he'd been to the German one, I wondered whether it'd be worth it to sit in the stands and pay all that money to watch a car speed passed you every few minutes but he assured me its worth it, especially the VIP packages

I went on a bit of a corporate do to the Monaco GP about 10 years ago. Nothing like the level you're looking at here but it was still a great (but very long) day. Basically it was flights from Manchester to Nice, a luxury coach transfer to Monaco and a meal in a restaurant that overlooked some of the track. We then had a few hours to wander around after the race before being bussed back to the airport and flown home.

The type of thing discussed in the OP is something that is definitely on my bucket list though!
