If I had a bank account I'd donate in the mood I'm in. But I haven't, so I can't, so you'll just have to believe me.

All the best though.

edit.

As meaningless and unhelpful as it is, that was meant for you Blue Chaos, Not this clown who posted above me... :)

Listen people paid over $50,00 for a potato salad on kickstarter so if you want a harem get on it and sort it out, you never know what people will pay for haha

and we know this isn't everyones cup of tea, but I guess that's the whole point, some people would love to visit, its just getting the word out to those people

Haha your edit really made me laugh! I'm applying for a job at nim's place :)

Bluechaos good luck but do think you'd be best staying out of town as someone else suggested Burton Rd would be ideal. Hope all works out for you

Astonishing really how many people on here don't seem to know what a Kickstarter project is.

If you donate a tenner and they don't reach target then you get it back.

If you donate a tenner and they do reach target then you get a new burger restaurant to go to.

You're paying to see a new service implemented which you wouldn't have had otherwise. If you want that service then put in the hat, if you don't then don't.

Kickstarter is an effective way of getting popular projects off the ground that wouldn't see the light of day otherwise. Good luck bluechaos. It's not my bag, I don't like sci-fi but you've done well to get as far as you have.

WTF is a geeky/scifi burger?

You should try one - they're out of this world.

Now if only there was a cafe that did that sort of thing.

Someone started a similar venture in Bury a couple of years back, a film themed cafe with props from Alien and other big films. Don't think it even lasted six months. Obviously Manchester is a different beast but it's a very hard market to do well in. Pick your location very, very carefully. Good luck, I hope it works out for you.
