FA Youth Cup 2014/15 Thread

I am surprisingly quite nervous for this game considering it's a youth game, I suppose it is a final though.

I just hope injuries don't come back to haunt us although I do think regardless we are a match for any youth team in Europe when we are on song.

Chelsea are rightly favourites, they have a really special group of players at u18 and u21 level at the moment and if nurtured correctly I will be astonished if a good few of them don't go on and become England internationals.

I watched them last week in the UEFA Youth League semi and final and they were a formidable outfit, ones to watch are Colkett and Loftus Cheek in midfield, Da Silva at left back, Izzy Brown on the wing and Solanke up front.

I may be jumping the gun but I could see that midfield duo of Colkett and Loftus Cheek becoming England's midfield in the next 5 years.

Lotus-Cheek is 19 mate, too old to play in the Youth Cup.

@ChelseaYouth on Twitter has done a really good preview of tonight's game for those interested: http://t.co/thu0At1vhw

It has City's team as:

Haug

Maffeo - Humphreys - Adarabioyo - Angelino

Wood - Bryan - Garcia

Nemane - Celina - Barker

This isn't too far from what I expect it'll be, with Boadu and Ambrose injured. If Iheanacho is available however, Nemane will probably drop to the bench, with Celina moving out to the right.

Looking forward to this though. Will be a really good game!

I can see it being that team but with Iheanacho up top if available.

I would keep Nemane on the wing, Celina didn't work there when we played Roma away as his game is predictable with the opposition knowing he will only ever really cut in side and pass into midfield, Nemane will cut in and go out to wide and beat a man to cross the ball, we need that unpredictability.

Could you post a link to watch it before the match?

It's on ITV 4.
I don't have it. Are there any streams of ITV4 on the internet?
