MOTM for me too. Re the elbow, from my view I got the feeling he wasn't too bothered if Costa got in the way! Costa was begging for it, he'd had a pop at Ferny a few minutes earlier after the "foul" on him by Komps near the touchline, horrible fucker.
 
Master class in playing the holding midfield role today. Didn't lose one challenge. Quality.
 
Last season he was clearly worn out from the World Cup, back to his best and is able to not only cover for Yaya and the Full backs but gets into those great positions on the edge of the box.Long may it continue

A proper ref would've spotted that Costa left one on Fern earlier, and the situation wouldn't have arisen. As it stands, Costa deserves everything he gets.
