Can't find Vera street where my dad was brought up he went to ravensbury street school. Some years ago the area on the map had a big impact on my life so can't look at it to long bad memories, plus her hubby might post on here lol.

My dad was born and raised on Ryder Street, right in the bottom corner of the map, just off Ashton Old Road/ Grey Mare Lane.

Great find. Just spent half an hour reminiscing. Spent first 5 or 6 years of my life in Barlow St. just off grey mare lane. Learnt to swim in Barmouth St. baths although I thought it was miles away at the time it was only round the corner.
