City v Boro post match

He has one player in the box to cross to versus 6 defenders. What is he supposed to do?

Perhaps playing with his head up once in while and he might just notice nobody hitting the front post, he doesn't ever even look for one at the back post either , it's stop then poke it a yard towards the byeline and twat it in shin high, the amount of times he gets in space around the box and does nothing isn't a coincidence, he's simply not good enough, he should be scoring eight ten goals a season from his position- not good enough.

because he is an awful football player.
So say you.

In truth, Kolarov is an extremely talented footballer - unless you think all of our management staff, Pep included, are totally idiots.

Kolarov though likes to go forward. If he's a fullback, he's going to be upfield more often than a defensively-minded fullback would have been. Often way the hell out of position, especially if no one covers for him.

Kolarov isn't fast - in fact he seems a bit slower than average - he's going to be beaten for pace by fast attackers.

And Kolarov isn't good at one-on-one defending - maybe average. He'll frequently fail to block crosses and is apt to be beaten one-on-one at times.

Nevertheless, Kolarov has a great left foot - can make killer passes, and is our best crosser of the ball. He can also take killer free kicks.

Kolarov isn't godawful - and nor is he without big flaws.

A balanced opinion of Kolarov indicates that he has a place in our squad currently until we get upgrades.

Ah so that's why he's gone through three managers here and still gets starts is it? Are all these coaches wrong, or are a few who don't like him because he [rightly] told some slapped arses in the stands to fuck off a few times wrong?

the amount of times he did the diagonal long ball straight to a middlesbrough player was scary
He did that once, Stones did it the other time. I hope you didn't go out on Halloween if you get scared by a few long balls

How dare you bring your balanced opinions here.
